Do you live outside the Houston area and are interested in a boat?  You don’t want to incure the expense or take the time to travel just to “kick the tires”?  You only want to get some “eyes” on it and not sure if you are ready to comit to a full survey?  We will be happy to act on your behalf to take a first hand look and prepare a report.  Keep in mind, this is not a full comprehensive survey, but we will still go over the boat from stem to stern and if you decide you want it, we will deduct the cost on a full survey.

A thorough sea trial is neccessary to determine how the vessel performs under load and in a real world scenario. We will monitor and video the guages while underway. We will also check the engines and steering gear. We are there to monitor and observe systems and do not operate the vessels. We ask for full throttle runs, straight, port/starboard turns and in reverse in order to observe systems under load.

We perform complete and conprehensive survey on the vessel’s hull structure, running gear, controls, and all other systems besides the power plant.  We will inspect the engines and will request a start test, however, a complete and comprehensive power plant survey is reccomended to accompany every survey.  We partner wtih the BEST engine technicians and engineers for Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, Mercruiser, Volvo, Cummins, Caterpillar, etc.   We do not charge a premium on their services.
